Non-stop bites all day long! We started our June diving adventure at 8:00 am from Palisade, with partly cloudy skies setting up what turned out to be a solid day on the water. The crew was ready to get underwater and explore the Key Largo waters. We guided the group as part of Grand Mesa Anglers with our Scuba Diving Test package.

Once the stage was set, we focused on buoyancy control, underwater navigation, and controlled ascents throughout the dive. The techniques worked well for the conditions we found.

Grand Mesa Anglers runs these Scuba Diving Test trips with a maximum capacity of 4 divers, which keeps the group size manageable and lets everyone get the attention they need underwater. June is a great month for diving around Palisade because the water conditions in Key Largo tend to be more stable this time of year. This type of trip works well for divers who want to practice their fundamental skills in a real-world setting, whether you're newer to diving or just want to sharpen your technique. The smaller group size means we can focus on individual skill development and make sure everyone gets comfortable with the navigation and buoyancy work. If you're thinking about getting out on the water and working on your diving skills, this package gives you a good mix of practical training in actual diving conditions.
